Torstash operates exclusively over Tor. We enforce an absolute airgap between your real world identity and your storage. We do not log IPs because Tor node addresses are completely useless to us. By requiring nothing but a wallet ID and a password, we eliminate any ability to map information back to a real identity. That is the entire point.
You hold the keys. You encrypt your files on your own machine before they ever reach our servers. Torstash only receives raw encrypted blobs. Because you control the encryption, we cannot read, scan, or interpret your data. You retain total authority over the lock and the key.
We run continuous backups to ensure your data stays exactly where you put it. If an attack takes the servers offline, we immediately redeploy with zero data loss. In the absolute worst case scenario of a total server breach, an attacker walks away with nothing but random wallet IDs and hashed passwords. Your files are encrypted and we hold zero personal information, meaning no identities are exposed. The infrastructure absorbs the attack and keeps running. It is built to be highly resilient.
